About

Company

Etnacom Networks LLC was created in 2001 with the purpose of providing affordable yet professional IT solutions to small businesses. Since then, the company has expanded to meet the needs of medium-sized businesses with services such as web design (including SEO), network and server deployment, and IT security. Etnacom is a team of one (with several subject matter experts as associates).

Philosophy

Etnacom’s focus is on being a partner, not a vendor. Most companies sell a solution, install it, and move on their way. Although the client may have their initial problem solved, they now have to face new challenges such has how to use and maintain the product. I operate Etnacom in a much different way.

First, I don’t sell just a solution – I sell a relationship. I am not in this business to sell software or equipment and then move on – otherwise, I would be a computer store. Instead, I want to sell you a partnership where I understand your business, your needs and your challenges. I aim to be approachable, and only then can we truly determine what kind of IT solutions are right for you.

Second, all of my clients know that I am accountable for my work. Even well after our project may be over, I am available to help you sustain your business and help you address any other problems that come up along the way. My job is not to fix your “computer problem”, but to leverage technology to maximize the return on your investment. After all, most smaller business and home users can’t afford a full-time, in-house IT staff. However, that doesn’t mean that you don’t deserve any IT staff at all; I am willing to work with you to develop a cost-effective plan for accommodating your needs, budgetary constraints and time-frames.

About Me

Paul PasqualeMy name is Paul Pasquale and I am the face behind Etnacom as well as one of the original founders of the company. My specialties lie within information security and information assurance, and my primary occupation lies in confronting these types of issues within the U.S. Government. I am especially interested in balancing information security with communication in blogs, social networking and websites. Prior to that, I assisted in IT development at a New York City media distibution firm and a number of financial firms, notably J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. where I worked as a consultant on a variety of projects ranging from desktop standardization to disaster recovery.

I hold a Bachelors’ degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art in New York, and a Masters’ degree in Information Security, Policy and Management from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. Due to my multi-disciplinary experience within IT, I consult on a variety of business technology issues. My strategic planning and support management guidance are excellent assets to businesses looking to expand or sustain operations while keeping marginal costs at a minimum.
